Arm Lift

Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) is a surgery used to remove excess skin from the arms. Many times after significant weight loss patients can be left with residual skin around the arms. This excess skin at times can make it difficult for patients to fit in to clothes. You will require general anesthesia. Incisions are made along the back of the arm. The length of the incision varies depending on the amount of skin that needs to be removed. The incisions are closed in multiple layers to help you heal as well as possible. After the initial healing is completed you will be guided on products to use to help minimize your scarring.
