Fat transfer is a great treatment that can be used in a variety of ways. Fat has become a vital part of facial rejuvenation. I used fat in almost every facelift or eyelid surgery that I do because of the natural and youthful appearance that it can add to the results of your surgery.
Fat can be used under the eyes to decrease the hollow appearance that patients can have as they age. More commonly I use the fat in combination with lower eyelid surgery to give patients a very natural rejuvenated appearance.
If patients are not ready for a surgical procedure you I will also use fillers such as Restylane in this area to improve the area until patients are ready for surgery.
