What Makes QWO a Powerful Option?

Currently, QWO is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks. However, many patients have also used QWO to treat cellulite on the thighs. QWO works by using two naturally occurring enzymes to target type 1 and type 3 collagen. These types of collagen are responsible for the thick fibrous bands that attach to the skin, pulling sections of skin downward. This is what creates dimples, or cellulite, on the surface of the skin.

When injected, QWO softens the bands, causing the skin to release and appear smoother. Most patients in San Antonio can expect their QWO treatment to last about 30 minutes. Much like other injectable treatments, QWO is performed in office. This allows patients to return to their daily activities shortly after the treatment. For optimal results, we recommend three treatments spread three weeks apart.

Avèli Treatments Explained

The Avèli Device treats the primary structural cause of cellulite – the connective bands woven throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks. These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the puckering you see on the surface of the skin. Similar to a rubber band under tension, once released, the treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out, providing you with luxury legs.
