What is a HydraFacial Treatment?

A HydraFacial is so much more than just a facial. Using a state-of-the-art vortex HydroPeel® tip and a variety of customizable serums, the HydraFacial combines a spa-like, refreshing experience with medical-grade skincare results. Dr. Johnny Franco is proud to offer this treatment at Austin Plastic Surgeon. It’s a great standalone option, as well as a suitable accompaniment to other procedures and treatments at our practice.

How it Works

The foundational elements of HydraFacial are that it cleanses, extracts, and hydrates. The device and serums together clean the skin while exfoliating dead skin cells. Debris is extracted from your pores painlessly. Moisturizing serums are applied, as well as antioxidants and peptides.

All these steps are completed with the handheld device. The device passes across your skin and uses patented swirling vortex technology to both deliver soothing serums, and extract debris, dead skin cells, and impurities. It has the advantage of vacuum and infusion action combined. The treatment is painless and takes about 30 minutes. Afterward, you’ll have refreshed, glowing, nourished, hydrated skin.

Who it’s Right for

A woman with golden wavy hair and a pretty white smile holds her fingertips to her chin and poses in front of a polka dot backgroundOne of the really wonderful things about HydraFacial is that it’s right for everyone! All skin types, all skin concerns – HydraFacial has you covered:

  • Aging skin
  • Wrinkles
  • Acne
  • Dry skin
  • Sensitive skin
  • Oily skin
  • Clogged pores
  • Large pores
  • Poor skin texture
  • Brown spots and sun damage
  • Lack of firmness
  • Poor vibrancy and uneven tone

The treatment is non-invasive and provides results quickly. You may have some redness for a day or so, but the results take shape almost immediately. HydraFacial can be performed monthly if you want to time the treatment with the natural 27-day turnover of skin cells. As a first timer, you can benefit from receiving several HydraFacials over the course of a few months, to get a baseline of optimal results established. After that, we recommend switching to monthly treatments, or regular treatments at an interval that works for you.
